HOORAY!

I just did my longest run since January of this year. Since I missed my run on Saturday I got up way earlier than I ever willing do and even without biting off my husbands head for waking me up I got up and hunted down all my gear and hit the treadmill. (I didn't want to carry water and I wanted to keep it a controlled pace.) So I pulled in my radio and listened to the Chunga show on 101.9 the end. I don't think one song was played the entire time but I did laugh a few times.

I did eight miles with a little bit of a cool down afterwards in 1:04:45. Which gives me a 13:05 average. Score baby! I am so happy, now I have to go clean my house before the sheet rock people come.

Oh Happy day...........oh happy day...............

I am doing the race for the cure this weekend. I will be running around town picking up a couple miles beforehand, I want a 5-6 mile run this weekend.

Are you going too Paula? My sis-in-law is a breast cancer survivor!
