Started with a few fast miles to kind of see where I am at and if it might be possible for me to break my 5k PR at the end of this month. Did 3 miles in 30:19. PR is 29:55, can race adrenaline and another 6 pounds lighter make the difference? I then bought the new stephenie meyer book and ran 1 more mile home so Chris could go to work. I did 4.5 miles on the treadmill while reading the book. 1 mile was at a 5.5 incline all others were at 1 incline. I can kind of feel it in my hamstrings. Good, good, good. Then there was a two mile walk with the kids to the park to play on the swings. I am ready for a nap and I haven't even tackled my kitchen today. I have to have it done before the repairman shows up tomorrow to fix my recalled washer. |
