| | Very slow miles with Mary but we got some good hills in there too. Had to bail on the 5k later that afternoon, just way too much going on that day. |

| | Started with a few fast miles to kind of see where I am at and if it might be possible for me to break my 5k PR at the end of this month. Did 3 miles in 30:19. PR is 29:55, can race adrenaline and another 6 pounds lighter make the difference? I then bought the new stephenie meyer book and ran 1 more mile home so Chris could go to work. I did 4.5 miles on the treadmill while reading the book. 1 mile was at a 5.5 incline all others were at 1 incline. I can kind of feel it in my hamstrings. Good, good, good. Then there was a two mile walk with the kids to the park to play on the swings. I am ready for a nap and I haven't even tackled my kitchen today. I have to have it done before the repairman shows up tomorrow to fix my recalled washer. |

| | Nice easy miles with Mary. Next time though I am going to make her work harder she's taking it too easy and not progressing well. But it was a nice morning out today we were scoping out the the westfest 5k course. I haven't run this course yet. |

| | Average 10:30, felt harder than that so I am going to blame the fact I ate a good sized dinner 15 minutes before we started. Barf nuggets man, but I didn't actually blow any chunks |

| | Wasatch Back! It was wonderful and I didn't even mind the extra miles on leg 35. It was a beautiful trail and I can't wait to go back and find it again. |

It was a pretty good day considering all tha happened the week before. I donated blood on the wednesday and did a pretty tough 23 mile bike ride friday night and didn't get to bed until almost 2am to get up and run the race. Not a PR but I wasn't expecting that. I ran the first mile too fast of course 9:27, the 10:24, then 10:40, last .1 was pretty good too. Anyways not too terribly bad and I had fun running with a girl from my home ward in California who now lives in evanston. It was her fastest 5k ever.
I won a head lamp at the drawing! Yippe I will be ready for WBR next year :) |

3 miles this morning. 12:30, 11:40, 10:40. I am thinking I need to be running most my miles at an 11 pace now. I think I might e taing things too easy. But then again aren't you supposed slow down? Did 1.5 later to park and back with kids on their bikes. I had to jog just to keep them in sight.
I think I will walk to free lunch with the kids and let natalie ride her two wheeler. She is so proud of that! It's so much fun to watch her. Oh and I discovered this morning that she is Team Jacob. Didn't realize that she likes Twilight!
