Okay, day 3 in a row.  I AM GOING TO RUN 6 TIMES A WEEK.  I AM GOING TO R UN SIX TIMES A WEEK. I AM GOING TO RUN 6 TIMES A WEEK.

See the reason I repeat that is because I am going to do, not try, not see if I can, I just have to do it if I want to improve.

So heres the run for today.  First rule, take it easy, second you can run with your GPS but NO LOOKING!   I almost cheated twice but caught myself.  Third, just keep going.

There was a little cheating because I forgot to take off all of the alerts off so I had a beep every six minutes which gave me a hint as to  my time, and it also beeped everytime my speed was faster that 11:00, then it beeped at a mile, but I know this course really well so it wasn't too much of a surprise, so I turned up my music and really started to ignore the beeps.

 Mile one 11:51

Mile two 11:30

Mile three 11:03

Total time for 3.1 was 35:28, that's almost 30 seconds faster than the race for the cure about 3 weeks ago.  Ha ha, I just beat my 5k time during a training run, I was working but I wasn't dying.  Oh yeah.  (This was a run a lot better than the 5k, where I had a 10:40 first mile and then died).

Great job!

I am not sure if you saw my reply from yesterday, but you are more than welcome to join us whenever you like. Right now our Wed/Fri's are our light days - 3 miles with no worry about our pace and then we do some light weights afterwards. The rest of the days are a little heavier on both mileage and pace but the more the merrier.

Great Job. Get those times down -- yeah!
