| | slow walk jog. Couldn't stand a lot of movement due to biking injuries but at least my arm is most comfortable in a bent position. Have a lot of work to do until I'm ready for Logan :) But only 5 more weeks of school and I get all 7th graders next years. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hall le lu jaaaaaaaaaaaaaah |

| | Warmer weather means going greener :) We walked, kids in stroller-I pushed. The five mile round trip to the library. I was walking as fast as I could while pushing, cant rotate my body much do to my biking injuries still. 19 more day of school and I can have a little less stress and just start tackling the new year and improving my lesson plans. I think at the start of every unit I will give the students a list of all required vocabulary and the concepts that they will need to have mastered to be able to pass the test. Anyone have comments on that? I am heading out tomorrow with Krash for 30+ bike ride. Well whatever we can get done in 2:15 |

| | 22 miles biking. It was pretty good but I was jumpy from my last accident. Didn't want anyone or any thing getting close to me. I got ran off the road once by a truck without a turn signal who was prematurely entering a turn lane. And SHE was the one with choice words about me?! |

| | 5.5 biking. fairly decent pace. I loved it, and no crashes this time. It was the same course I biffed two weeks ago, and still have bruises and sore ribs from. But no broken bones. Hurray |

Churchill Fun Run (3.1 Miles) 00:50:00 | | Hurray for Churchill. What a fun tradition, they have a 5k race every year and the kids can pay 2 dollars to get out of class and go run. I walked with some other teachers at a brisk pace and that was rough up a couple hills. Very enjoyable, we passed so many slackers and I mean a lot like 100 or more. Man do these kids have no pride? I never would have been caught dead being passed by OLD teachers, WALKING! Afterwards the students could buy waterballoons to throw at the teachers and I willing stood in my assigned area but I didn't have very many people going after me, I was fairly dry. Other teachers came out in ponchos, and umbrellas. Pretty fun |

This is kind of a race report but I don't have a distance, all I know is we covered a lot of ground and I am tired. 5 hours of racing, jumping on trax, finding geocaches, getting all the clues, running up to the capital I am beat! It was great fun and Churchill Jr. High won 40 gps watches to use in our classrooms. A prize worth $8,000!!! |

ADC 5k (3.5 Miles) 00:52:00, Place overall: 97, Place in age division: 31 | |
The person they had marking the turn in the course didn't do her job, so a lot of people added a lot of miles to the run. But on the other hand the raffle was awesome, little giant ladders, bed n breakfast getaways. Not bad. had a great time. My mother in law got second in her division. Natalie got 7th but her age group was 1-12, yeah, like that is really close in abilities with that age group.

| | 11 or so miles on the bike. I think we estimated a bit on the low side just to be safe, Chris thinks high side but anyways we are close to that. Fairly easy with a good climb up to the library, that reminds me, I have to go hunt down strawberry shortcake. "hello ho ho I'm here" |
